Waiting Time Calculator

The Waiting Time Calculator provides information to help people who have applied for or are thinking of applying for housing through the Council’s housing register, in order to decide whether social housing is right for them. This includes details of:

  • Where the housing associations have properties
  • The number of lettings in various areas of the borough
  • The number of applicants waiting to be housed
  • Estimated waiting times (if you have applied and know your points total)

Before using the Waiting Time Calculator, please read the Terms of Use. Click the button below to agree to these terms and start using the Waiting Time Calculator.

Terms of Use

The Waiting Time Calculator is provided as an interactive guide to allow users to consider the length of time it may take to be housed in a housing association property through nomination by the Council to a housing association.

The data used to supply the information is taken from snapshots updated at intervals, and should be used with caution. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the data used, errors may occur.

It should also be noted that the data displayed on this site is only updated at intervals, yet waiting lists change on a daily basis. Also, estimated waiting times calculated here are based on historic data (i.e. the last 12 months) - there is no guarantee that the same pattern of lets will be seen in the next 12 months. For these reasons, these figures should only ever be used as a rough estimate when considering waiting times.

Please note that older persons’ accommodation includes properties that have been designated for an older age group (usually over 50 or 55 years).
